Friday July 27, 2007 - Garageband Loops - Acid Music Loops - Royalty Free Music - Flash Loops - Guitar Loops - Hip-Hop Loops - That's what it is all about!! Inner Rhythm Studios has a great selection. Greetings everyone. Well, here we are just a day away from our biggest jam of the summer. Tomorrow we will be jamming for the masses. It's going to be fully documented. Laird has 3 video cameras that are going to shoot the show. My Roland 880ex will record the audio out of the sound guy's mixer. We will get a high quality audio file plus tons of footage from 3 cameras. This is going to be a fun exploration into digital video editing for me. I'm looking forward to playing with all of the video footage on my computer. When we get everything dialed, I will post the video on our blog for everyone to download and watch on their computer. I'll be camping out at the raceway on Saturday night, so I'm also bringing all of my camping gear and my large cooler that will have lots and lots of beer. It's going to be one hell of a party!!
O.k. Here are the jams from last Saturday nights show. I gotta tell ya, I was disappointed in the recordings because once again, our main AKG C3000 microphone failed to record. This is our main fidelity mic. The recordings sound really shitty, but if you want to check them out, I went ahead and did the best I could with the mixes. Here they are:

"Four Senate Democrats called on the Justice Department's Solicitor General to appoint a special prosecutor to investigate whether or not Attorney General Alberto Gonzales committed perjury in Congressional testimony on the Bush administration's domestic spying program.Well, the truth has a way of making itself known. When the nation's top prosecutor is the target of an investigation, who will prosecute him? Sounds like a special prosecutor is in order. If Pat Fitzgerald is too liberal for you, then how about Bob Barr? Check out the full article here.Senator Charles Schumer (D-NY) harshly criticized the Attorney General in the Thursday Capitol Hill press conference.
"His inability to answer simple and straight forward questions was just stunning," Schumer said. "His instinct is not to tell the truth, but to dissemble and deceive."
" Senate Judiciary Chairman Patrick Leahy announced Thursday he had subpoenaed White House adviser Karl Rove and his deputy accusing them of stonewalling a widening probe into the firing of federal prosecutors. The Heat is on, so gets to cookin'!!! Inherent Contempt of Congress allows for a simple solution to these complex issues so please call or email your Representatives in DC."The Bush-Cheney White House continues to place great strains on our constitutional system of checks and balances," Leahy said in issuing the subpoenas. "Not since the darkest days of the Nixon Administration have we seen efforts to corrupt federal law enforcement for partisan political gain and such efforts to avoid accountability.".
"We have now reached a point where the accumulated evidence shows that political considerations factored into the unprecedented firing of at least nine United States Attorneys last year," Leahy said, according to The Associated Press."
"Capitol Hill's leading daily seems to have it in for Attorney General Alberto Gonzales. Today's headline from yesterday's hearings? Gonzales Digs Deeper Hole. After finishing up his latest round of testimony before the Senate Judiciary Committee, Gonzales may have more than his credibility to lose. Wednesday's (paid-restricted) Roll Call reports the AG "may have put himself in legal jeopardy" as senators from both parties cast doubt on the veracity of his testimony. Republican Sen. Arlen Specter (R-PA) put it bluntly: "I do not find your testimony credible." He reminded Gonzales that the entire committee would review his testimony, in an apparent threat of legal consequences for lying to Congress."Read the full article here.
